Create an online countdown

How to get started

  1. Open the web app and create a new countdown.
  2. Give it a name and choose the date you want to count toward.
  3. Pick an emoji and color, then save it.
  4. Open the countdown to see the remaining time or edit its details.

Use it for a birthday, deadline, vacation or any date you are waiting for. If you want a public event, the event directory provides confirmed upcoming dates and links into the countdown flow.

Where are my countdowns stored?

The web app stores countdowns in this browser on this device. No account is required. Clearing site data, switching browsers or using a different device can make your saved list unavailable. Private browsing is not a good place to keep a list you want to return to later.

Can I use it offline?

Once the app and its required files have loaded, its installed web-app cache supports offline use. Load it online first. A browser may remove cached data, so keep another copy of dates you cannot afford to lose.

Add it to your Home Screen

Use your browser's install or Add to Home Screen option when available. The exact menu depends on the browser and device. This opens the web app conveniently; it does not add the iOS app's countdown widgets.

When should I use the iPhone app?

Choose the iOS app when you want its reminders, iCloud sync or Apple Watch support. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets require Premium. The browser app is a separate, device-local experience and does not automatically sync its list with iCloud.

For those widgets, read the iPhone countdown widget guide.
